“I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Shannon Duffy Photography. At the beginning of my wedding planning journey, I decided the most important thing aside from the actual marriage was our wedding photos. I began contacting photographers and was not having the greatest experience, then I landed on Shannon Duffy and knew I had found a real gem.
She was so helpful to this wedding newbie and really helped guide me through the process. We had many meetings leading up to my wedding and she really got to know and see my vision. I will never forget during a video call she was showing me some of the things she brings along on the big day (which is everything you could possibly need!) and saying “I’ll be there for whatever you need like an invisible bridesmaid" and I can truthfully say after this she was truly the extra girl I needed.
My wedding was September 13 2020, and not only were we dealing with this awful pandemic, but the week leading up to our wedding wildfires broke out all across Oregon, and surrounded the venue with a thick blanket of smoke just days before the wedding. I was beyond stressed. I thought there was no way to get the pictures I'd always dreamt of with smoke filling the air and low visibility at our beautiful outdoor venue. When I expressed my concern to Shannon she reassured me that the photos would be beautiful. She proved that true the very next day at my rehearsal dinner, taking the most gorgeous photos of our venue that put all my fears to rest! She arrived bright and early on our wedding day and was quickly at work photographing every last detail and decoration.
When it came time for the serious stuff Shannon lead me out to see my fiancé for the last time before he became my husband at our first look. This is a moment that is beyond special and could not have come across more beautifully. She captured the true beauty of the oak grove we were standing in while making us the real show stoppers. I then walked down the aisle to marry my best friend and honesty nothing could explain our happiness better than our exit photo; we both look like we just won the lottery.
